Each landscape design project includes scaled and detailed drawings designed specifically to your property and goals, along with a curated list of plants selected for your site’s unique conditions.

Illustrative sketches help you clearly envision how your garden will look, feel, and function.

Once your design is complete, you can either install the garden yourself using our detailed plan or request a quote for professional installation.

Our goal is not just to create something beautiful, but to transform your yard from a source of overwhelm into a space that draws you outside and cultivates a bit more wildness and joy into everyday life. We believe the best gardens captivate, delight, and deeply resonate with people and celebrate a sense of place.

Planting plans focus on native and regionally appropriate plant communities, layered with colorful perennials and dynamic seasonal interest.

We carefully consider long-term sustainability, maintenance needs, pollinator stewardship, habitat value, and the way you move through and use your space, ensuring your garden functions as beautifully as it looks.

Meet the Designer

All designs and client communications are done in-house, led by our lead designer, Melissa Keyser.

She uses her background in ecology, permaculture, horticulture, and design to create customized designs that captivate, delight, and deeply resonate with people and amplifies the magic of a place.

All plans and visuals are hand drafted or digitally hand drawn in Melissa’s unique style.

  • Say Hello.

    Every project begins with a phone call to talk through your goals and make sure we’re a good fit.

  • Walk the Land.

    Next, we meet at your home for a 60–90 minute in-person consultation and explore your space, your goals, and early ideas.

  • Make a Plan.

     After the consultation, you’ll receive a design proposal outlining the scope of work, project timeline, and design fee.

  • Explore Possibilities.

    Back in the studio, we create multiple concept sketches and mood boards to discover the right direction.

  • The Final Design.

     You receive a detailed, to-scale landscape plan that brings the design together. The final design includes a layout plan, planting plan, and materials guidance.

  • Bring It To Life.

     Ongoing guidance available for sourcing plants, installation support, and garden care.
