We offer landscape design and garden consulting services tailored to your land and lifestyle.
Our designs are rooted in both ecological and aesthetic design principles, creating landscapes that nurture both people and planet. We blend stewardship, beauty, and functionality to shape outdoor spaces.
We specialize in ecological landscape designs, edible garden designs, pollinator gardens, native plants, permaculture-led designs, and cut flower gardens.

We are based near Damariscotta, ideally placed to serve clients in the MidCoast, from Brunswick to Rockland and throughout Sagadahoc, Lincoln, and Knox counties.
Limited projects further afield in Portland, Southern Maine, Belfast and beyond are available at extra travel cost.

Cultivating Wild is a small design studio, and we work closely with both the land and our clients. Each project receives careful attention, so we take on a limited number of projects each year.
Gardens are often designed and planned weeks to months before they’re installed, allowing space for thoughtful decisions, careful observations, and seasonal timing.
