Snail Mail Garden Club
the
FROM CULTIVATING WILD
A slow-living and garden-inspired letter subscription for people who miss real mail.
There are a lot of ways to consume “content.”
THIS ONE IS DIFFERENT.
The Snail Mail Garden Club is a tiny rebellion against the algorithm. It’s a gentle nudge toward analog living: an invitation to slow down and keep pace with the season instead of the feed.
Each curated piece of monthly mail is a way of sharing soulful storytelling, plus a bundle of inspiration, surprises, and ways for you to engage with the wilder world and root deeper into the garden.
It’s also a practical kind of magic. Something tangible in your busy day, a small monthly rhythm to bring surprise and joy.

behind the mail
I’m Melissa, the creator of the Snail Mail Garden Club and Cultivating Wild. I’m a garden designer, photographer, and writer living in a cabin in the Maine woods.
I’ve been sharing online about the garden, nature, and slow living for almost 2 decades. I started this subscription because I didn’t want to make another online thing.
I wanted something slower, tangible, and lasting — something that takes me away from my screen and makes checking the mailbox feel fun again.
The mail is simple by design — handcrafted, down-to-earth, and rooted in real seasonality. It’s designed to spark connection and curiosity, wherever you are.
For only $12 a month, you’ll receive a 5x7 envelope filled full of goodies such as:
PERSONAL LETTER FROM (ME) MELISSA: observations from nature, what’s happening in the garden, personal reflections, and seasonal musings.
POSTCARD FT. ORIGINAL ART: something to keep, display, or gift forward to nurture connections the old-fashioned way.
SEASONAL RECIPE CARD: garden-led, and easy to make at home, think: hot tea in winter, shareable zucchini nibbles in the summer, or an herbal skin salve in spring.
GARDEN GUIDANCE: little guides or zines detailing things you might not know or need a refresher on, such as: growing garlic 101, pollinator planting design + plant list, a planting combination recommendation.
SEASONAL SURPRISES: treasures I discover that are worth passing along: book recommendations, seeds, pressed flowers, and other garden-adjacent tokens.

Please note we sadly can not ship seeds outside of the US, nor will you get the fun collection of vintage stamps (we have to use a special international one.)
